Emirates Stadium – Premier League
It’s a second big London derby in as many weekends for Tottenham, as they take on Arsenal at the Emirates in this Premier League preview. With both teams starting the season relatively well, we could be in for a great game on Sunday.
With so many talented forwards on the pitch, both teams to score predictions look good at 1/2. Four of the last eight Premier League north London derbies have been draws, with three of those ending 1-1. The score draw’s 3/1 with 888sport in your Arsenal vs Tottenham predictions, with another 1-1 at 13/2.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the Premier League’s joint-top scorer with eight goals. The Gabon striker got the winner at Bournemouth last weekend, and he’s 13/8 to score at any point. Aubameyang is 5/1 with William Hill to net first, with those odds rising to 41/1 if the game finishes 1-1.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score first
Tottenham’s last victory at the Emirates was back in November 2010. Harry Redknapp’s side came back from two goals down to win 3-2, and they are 11/1 to win from behind on Sunday. Spurs are 22/1 with bet365 to win 3-2 in your football score predictions for Sunday. If you want football tips with big odds, add Harry Kane as the first scorer for 70/1 with the same bookmaker. Or, go with Aubameyang scoring first for 135/1.

Unai Emery made sweeping changes to his team for Thursday’s Europa League victory over Vorskla Poltava. He will of course return to his first XI for this game, with Alexandre Lacazette fit after a groin problem. Laurent Koscielny could make a return from the Achilles injury that kept him out of the World Cup. Fellow defenders Nacho Monreal and Konstantinos Mavropanos are out though, while Danny Welbeck is a long-term absentee.

Spurs made four changes in their midweek Champions League game against Inter Milan. Christian Eriksen came on as a sub to score the only goal though, and he’ll start here. Kieran Trippier is closing in on a return to action, but could miss this Arsenal v Tottenham prediction. Erik Lamela is also a doubt, while Mousa Dembele, Davinson Sanchez and Victor Wanyama are all out.
Arsenal vs Tottenham prediction, preview and betting tips
The north London derby is never a quiet affair, and this Sunday promises to be an early Christmas cracker. Fifth-placed Arsenal trail Tottenham in third by three points, and the Gunners will move ahead of their great rivals on goal difference with a win. Spurs meanwhile can’t afford to lose any more ground on Manchester City.
The hosts are 28/17 in your Arsenal v Tottenham betting tips, as they look for their third straight victory. They’ve won two on the road after drawing three in a row at the Emirates. Unai Emery’s side haven’t been ahead in any of their 13 Premier League fixtures so far this term, but they’ve gone on to win eight of those. That includes a 2-1 victory at in-form Bournemouth last weekend.
Tottenham are 7/4 in your football predictions, and they’re aiming to win away at Arsenal for the first time in eight years. Mauricio Pochettino has a good record in London derby matches though. His 22 victories is more than any other manager since he took charge. Spurs were excellent in ending Chelsea’s unbeaten record on Saturday, and they should be full of confidence after keeping their Champions League hopes alive against Inter.
The draw is 13/5, and that Arsenal vs Tottenham prediction would be a first stalemate of the season for the away team. The Gunners have drawn three of their last four Premier League fixtures, with two of those at home. The teams drew three times in a row a couple of years ago, so that could be a solid bet.
Harry Kane is the 7/2 favourite to score first. The England captain has 25 goals in Premier League London derbies, with only five players boasting more. He has seven in the league this term, which is two more than Alexandre Lacazette. The Arsenal forward hasn’t scored since netting the equaliser against Liverpool at the start of November, but is 5/1 in your first goalscorer predictions.
